73% of the population are well aware of the elections to local keneshes, which are scheduled for April 11, 2021. Of these, 80% plan to take part in the elections. This data was obtained based on the results of a public opinion poll and are reflected in an analytical report prepared by the Common Cause public foundation - "Public Opinion on the Upcoming Elections to Local Keneshes". Survey period: March 3-17, 2021. We conducted this survey as part of the voter education component of the “Independent Election Observation in the Kyrgyz Republic” project. 22% of respondents note a high probability of abuse of administrative resources in elections to local keneshes. Considering the reasons for the likelihood of misuse of administrative resources, 61% called it a common practice during elections. 20% of respondents note that there is a high probability of vote-buying in these elections. What are the 3 main reasons that can influence the decision to vote for this or that party, what qualities voters would like to see in the deputies of local keneshes, and much more can be found in our reports on the website. 05.04.2021

Common Cause asked citizens of Kyrgyzstan what they think about vote-buying and misuse of administrative resources. The survey was conducted by the "Common Cause" Public Foundation from February 19 to February 28, 2021. The survey results are broken down by gender, age, place of residence and regions.
